Search functionality in Muse is a highly requested feature, however it’s difficult to achieve in simple HTML / CSS based websites. After coming across Swiftype, a powerful and modern search plugin, it only made sense to build a pack of integration widgets to simplify creating a search box and results page directly in Adobe Muse.

We’ve just released a new widget that is commonly found on Ecommerce sites – it’s called the “Photo Zoom” widget. This will allow Muse users to embed a photo of any size into their website, and when a visitor moves their mouse over the image a higher resolution version is displayed within the same frame.

Check out our video on using a "responsive design" hack in Adobe Muse – this is a very basic implementation, however it illustrates this simple technique very clearly. Use at your own risk!

We're excited to release our latest video widget, Full Browser Width Videos. This widget allows you to place an HTML5 video on the canvas, and set the width / height to any dimensions you choose.  Users can force the video to span the full width of the browser by using the exact same process as graphics or images.

Control the image that Facebook generates for your Adobe Muse website with the new Facebook Previews widget. Simply drag our widget on the Muse canvas, link your preview image in Muse and upload your site to the web. Facebook will automatically detect this new image, and use it when generating a preview link for your site.

To simplify the process of embedding video backgrounds, we’re happy to release a new design tool – the Fullscreen Video Backgrounds widget, which allows you to create effects like these directly in Muse. The tool also gives users the ability to overlay a tiled image or pattern on top of the video.
