Full Width Videos - Flexible New Tool
The release of our Fullscreen Video Backgrounds widget was a huge success, however our customers had plenty of feedback / requests. We've listened!
We're excited to release our latest video widget, called the "Full Width Video" tool. This widget allows you to place an HTML5 video on the canvas, and set the width / height to any dimensions you choose. Users can force the video to span the full width of the browser by using the exact same process as graphics or images - simply drag the frame edges to the left / right boundaries of the website canvas until they "snap" in place (a red vertical line will appear).

The video size will always expand to the maximum width of the frame it's inside, so you can create plenty of unique wide video elements. We recommend using this only on the desktop version of your website, as mobile compatibility can be tricky when using HTML5 video.
The widget acts like any other Muse design element, so feel free to pin it to the browser, layer it behind other elements or simply create multiple instances on a single long page.
This widget is included in our toolkit - remember to delete your old toolkit before importing the new file to take advantage of other improvements we've made.
Enjoy!
Have you experience these video not displaying on IE or Chrome?
