The widget integrates with Video.js, which is a popular open source video player.  We've tied our widget into the skinning controls, and users can now change the look and colors of the player directly in the Muse widget options panel!

Video.js is also mobile friendly, and works nicely on all major browsers. You can control the thumbnail (preview) image that shows prior to playing the video by simply entering the link directly in Muse. Take that YouTube!

An important note - we've encountered some playback bugs on mobile devices when combining this widget with motion scroll effects. You probably shouldn't be using HTML5 video and motion scrolling on the mobile version of your site anyways!

 

This widget is included in our toolkit - remember to delete your old toolkit before importing the new file to take advantage of other improvements we've made.
