February Projects & Priorities
(please note priorities and projects are subject to change)
Essential Series of Widgets – Our new series of "essentials" widgets are designed for maximum compatibilty and simple setup. In addition to our new Search Essentials widget (released last week), we currently have fantastic new audio and video essentials widgets in testing and nearly ready for release. This series will also be prioritized for bug fixes and compatibility upgrades to ensure they always work right out of the box.
500+ Social Icon Pack – Users have requested we build a pack of the latest social icons in a variety of Muse-friendly formats. Our newest graphic pack release includes over 500 social icons along with authoring files.
Adobe Muse Quickstart Guide - Video Series – We're putting the finishing touches on a 10-part video series covering the most essential elements and tools in Muse. Designed for users who want to get started quickly (or decide if Muse is right for their project), this tutorial series is a great starting point for new Muse users.
Our team reminisced this month as February 8th marked the one year anniversary of the release of Responsive Muse. Oh how simple things once were...
Prepping for the responsive release was one of the biggest projects in the history of our company, and it really changed the way we work with Muse and develop our products. We have some exciting new ideas in development to help simplify creating responsive layouts (called frameworks), and a new development system to power our widgets. Stay tuned!
Renew for Locked-in Pricing
February has always been a big month for signups, and we wanted to send a quick reminder to our members that as long as you renew your membership, we will always honor your original signup rate. Some of our longest members have been grandfathered in all the way back to 2012 for only $39 per year! Unfortunately, we can't easily reactivate cancelled memberships at old rates due to changes in our billing provider, so in order to keep your original rate it's always best to renew.
Thanks again for being members of MuseThemes.com! We sincerely appreciate it.
Hi thanks for the update. I have been a member for a long time please could you confirm that my membership is still running and at the original price, thanks Martina
MuseThemes is a perfect incarnation of brilliant simplicity. You seem to present nothing that doesn’t solve a problem that needs to be solved…or a widget that anticipates what users are likely to want in our inventory of tools and options. And I find the tutorials to be clear, succinct, and enjoyable. Thank you.
I would love to see a widget that allows customers to leave a review on or website. Thanks
Great update, Steve. Just as I was closing out the article, I noticed your bio and that you have a large collection of business books. I’m always curious to know where to find the best information I can learn from (one reason that I became a member here!). Like you once were, I stepped away from a corporate job to run my own design business, and I’d love to hear any recommendations for great business books that are among your most favorite and how that has helped you run your business (if you have time, that is). I have to say, in the some months since I found MuseThemes, I’ve been incredibly impressed with how you communicate, your incredible customer service, and the way you and your team make your customers feel like you’re pulling for our success. Thanks so much.
Thanks for the update. In all the years I’ve been creating websites, I believe the experience I’ve had with Muse Themes tops the list of design platforms. Thanks for making my job so much easier!!
I hope that your message does not mean pay twice in one year. I just payed for an annual membership, that mean 12 months. In other e-commerce shops use this kind of messages like an opportunity to charge twice in one year. Can I be wrong?
“We have some exciting new ideas in development to help simplify creating responsive layouts (called frameworks)”.
This is something what we have been waiting for, especially for beginners. GREAT!
