What is a .csv file?

A .csv file is a basic spreadsheet file that can be edited in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, or similar.

Should I use the web-based template, or the local file? What's the difference?

Ultimately, there's no difference in the functionality of the sidebar menu, whether you use the web template or the local template. Local files allow for traditional editing and backup in your favorite spreadsheet editor. The web template option allows for immediate remote updates for you or your client.

Audio Playlist

When I preview my page, why do I see NaN:NaN for the track time?

Audio and video widgets should be tested on a published page, versus "Preview In Browser". The track time will work correctly when published.

When I publish my page, why do I see "Download File" instead of the player?

The loader component should be lower on the page than the player in Design mode. Keeping the two widget components grouped as they are when dragged from the library will keep this from happening.

Age Verification

Does this widget use cookies?

No. We use local storage, which does not need to send or receive cookies.

Do I need to place this widget on every page of my site?

If your entire site requires age verification, it is best to place the widget on the master page.

Photo Filter

I only see image filter transitions on page load. Why?

Transitions can only be applied when an image is going from no filter to a filter. Transitions do not work with filters used on both the normal and rollover state.

Why isn't Photo Filter working in Internet Explorer?

CSS transitions are unfortunately not supported in Internet Explorer.

Snipcart Ecommerce

How do I enter my products on the Snipcart site?

This widget works differently than most Ecommerce widgets. You actually enter your product information in Muse, then fetch products in the Snipcart backend to pull all of your products into your Snipcart Inventory. Pretty cool!

Why does the "Add To Cart" button look different from the other [orange] buttons?

The Add To Cart button is actually a widget AND a button. Open the option panel to enter product info and style the button. The other buttons (Login, Logout, and View Cart) are all custom buttons. You can use the provided buttons or make your own.

Trace | Animate SVG Icons

What is an SVG file and how do I make one?

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files are commonly referred to as vectors. They work great on the web because they are small in file size and scale up and down - looking sharp on every display size, unlike standard images. You can make your own SVG icons using Adobe Illustrator or similar editor. You can also use free online tools to convert images to SVG files. See our Docs page for more info.

What does the Miter Stroke Limit setting do?

Disqus Commenting

I don't have the option for guest comments when I publish my Disqus widget

The guest commenting option must be turned on in the Disqus site backend. Log into Disqus, then head to Admin > Edit Settings > Community > "Allow guests to comment"

Disqus has dark and light color schemes. Why don't I see a setting for it in the widget options?

This setting is built in and automatic. The widget will use the dark scheme on light page backgrounds and vice versa. This ensures Disqus Commenting is always visible.

OnLoad Animator

What does the "Overflow Mask" do?

The Overflow Mask allows animations to be confined to a specific area, like a state button. Just place your animated elements inside a state button.

How do I get the "Fade Out" option to work?

The Fade Out option fades elements between cycles in Looping mode. You will need to make sure you're using an animation type labeled "Fade xxxxx"
